If you sell a strategy, the hard part is being believed.
Anyone can post a screenshot. That is a problem for honest creators, not only for buyers: when a real record and a cropped one look identical, the real one earns no premium.
Creator verification is a private pilot, operated by hand. Nothing is for sale, there is no checkout, and no third-party creator has a public verified record on Proofline yet. When one does it will appear in the registry like any other record, including if the result is poor.
What a verified creator record carries
- The observation period
- When recording started and stopped. Not a window chosen afterwards.
- Every trade in it
- Including the ones that failed, filled short, or lost.
- Fees and slippage
- What the venue charged, and what the execution actually cost.
- Strategy versions
- If the rules changed mid-period, the record says when.
- Limitations
- What could not be observed, stated on the record itself.
- A permanent identity
- A corrected record is a new version; the earlier one does not vanish.
What Proofline will not do for you
- Certify that your strategy is profitable, or will be.
- Remove a losing period from your record because it is unrepresentative.
- Publish a record without the limitations that apply to it.
- Sell your strategy, take a cut of it, or route buyers to you.
- Vouch for anything you say off Proofline.
A verification that could be negotiated would be worth nothing to the people you want to convince. The refusals are the product.
Publishing and linking
A creator with a published record gets a public profile and can attach reviewed links to where they publish. Links are reviewed before they go live, the record always leads, and every outbound link says where it goes before it takes you there.
